Abstract

Background : Weighing under five can be measured by the frequency of visits for toddlers to weigh weight which is carried out routinely 8 times in the last 12 months for toddlers. The coverage of weighing children under five at the Ketilang Posyandu in Kertawangun Village is 53.24%, while the target of the Indonesian government is 80%. Covid-19 is still happening. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to weighing visits for toddlers aged 12-59 months during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Ketilang Posyandu, Kertawangun Village, Sedong District, Cirebon Regency in 2021. Method : This research is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Ketilang Posyandu, Kertawangun Village, Sedong District, Cirebon Regency in July 2021. The population in this study were mothers of toddlers aged 12-59 months. The number of samples in this study using the total sampling method amounted to 44 mothers of children under five. The dependent variable in this study was education, occupation, knowledge, attitude and role of cadres, the independent variable was weighing visits for toddlers aged 12-59 months. The instruments used are questionnaire sheets and observation sheets in the form of KMS (Card Towards Health). Data collection is done by means of observation. Bivariate analysis was carried out by using the chi square test. Results : The results of the univariate analysis showed that mothers had secondary education (SMA) 43.2%, not working 52.3%, good knowledge 43.2%, positive attitude 52.3%, role of cadres playing 56.8%, and actively conducting weighing visits. toddler 54.5%. Bivariate analysis obtained education value of p = 0.000, occupation (OR of 0.016, value of p = 0.000 and 95% CI 0.02-0.106), knowledge value of p = 0.000, attitude (OR of 209,000, value of p = 0.000 and 95% CI 17,543-2489,983), the role of cadres (OR 207,000, p value = 0.000 and 95% CI 17,362-2467,968). Conclusions : There is a relationship between education, work, knowledge of attitudes, the role of cadres with weighing visits for toddlers aged 12-59 months during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Ketilang Posyandu, Kertawangun Village, Sedong District, Cirebon Regency in 2021.
